Rep Softball Structure
On September 2, 2020 @ 7:00pm Wilmot Softball will be hosting an online meeting to discuss the current structure and potential changes to that structure. Specifically, the changes we are looking to make are to the U10 and U12 age groups.
For the past 3 years our U19, U16 and U14 age groups have operated as a tiered system. Allowing for a Tier 1 and potential tier 2 team. Meaning the Tier 1 teams are built within those age groups selecting the top players from both ages minor and major.
Our U10 and U12 age groups have always operated on a Major/Minor system meaning all the Major teams have second year players and all the Minor teams have 1st year players in their respective age groups.
At this meeting we are asking for feedback from the parent group regarding either maintaining the major/minor system or changing to a tiered system as is used at the older age groups.
