WSA 3rd Annual General Meeting 


The Wilmot Softball Association will be holding it's 3rd annual general meeting on Wednesday October 2nd, 2019 at the WRC -Wayne Roth Room- 7:30pm. Upstairs poolside.

Our AGM will review the what transpired over the past season and focus on ways to improve and develop for the years ahead.  Your support and attendance is welcome and very much in need. An Agenda will be emailed out a few weeks prior to the AGM with a list of topics and items to be reviewed. 

This is an official election year and therefore all positions which held a 2 year term will be open for nominations. This means every position is open so you can nominate anyone including yourself for any of the positions. The only position which is not up for election is President, this position will come available at the end of the 2020 season. 

At this year's AGM we will be first voting to revise the Organization structure. The proposed structure we are looking to propose is as follows:

The AGM is meant to be an open forum for all of our members to bring new ideas or past concerns to the table to strengthen and improve the way we do things.  If you are attending and have a fundamental concern or improvement on how we operate that is contrary to our Constitution or By-Laws, please submit a WSA - Amendment/Motion Form by clicking HERE.  This form must be completed and submitted at least 15 days prior to the AGM.

 Please note the Term for each position is dictated by the board as a way to help keep things running smooth and also to aid in any possible transitions from one role to another. Terms are not written in stone as we all realize these are volunteer positions and peoples personal lives change constantly varying the ability to continue to partake in a position or to resign from a position. Terms assigned are what we ask you to consider when signing up and are also how long you will maintain that posting prior to the next vote on new candidates for that positions so long as you remain in good standing with WSA. As happened this year we have some people that need to move on due to personal commitments, change in work environment and other factors.
